Dapto Cricket Club Team Of The Century
Criteria For Selection Selection of the team took account of certain criteria. Unfortunately, due to the shortage of records relating to the earlier years it was necessary in some cases to make estimates or rely on recollection. Included in the criteria were consideration and judgement of the following questions
- Has the player either scored 1500 runs or taken 100 wickets in first grade for Dapto Cricket Club
- Has the player played either 50 first grade games or five seasons of first grade with Dapto Cricket Club
- Has the player achieved representative status at Illawarra, N.S.W Country, Sydney First Grade, First Class or International level
- What was the players ability
- Was the player a credit to the Dapto Cricket Club
The selection panel was Alan Hayes, Gordon Turner, Mick Carr, Mick Clark and Steve Davies.
